Terms of Use
These terms of use set forth the terms of use for the services (hereinafter referred to as “Service”) provided by QRIO Inc (hereinafter referred to as “QRIO”) on this website. Users are requested to use this service in accordance with these terms.
- Article 1 (Application)
- These Terms of Use shall apply to all relationships between the user and QRIO in relation to the use of this service.
In addition to the Terms, QRIO may stipulate various rules for using the service (hereinafter referred to as “Individual Rules”). These individual rules may be called by any name. These Individual Rules, regardless of their names, constitute a part of these Terms.

- Article 2 (User registration)
- Registration for this service shall be completed when the applicant agrees to these terms and conditions, applies for registration in the manner specified by QRIO, and QRIO approves the application.
QRIO may not approve an application for registration if it judges that the applicant has any of the following reasons, and QRIO shall not be obligated to disclose any of the reasons. -
- The applicant has provided false information in the application for registration.
- The application is made by a person who has violated these terms of use.
- When QRIO judges that the registration is not appropriate.
- Article 3 (Management of user ID and password)
- A user shall, at his/her own responsibility, properly manage his/her user ID and password for the Service.
In no event shall a user transfer or lend his/her user ID and password to a third party or share them with a third party. QRIO assumes that the user who has registered the user ID is using the service.
QRIO shall not be liable for any damage caused by the use of a user ID and password by a third party, except in cases where QRIO is intentionally or grossly negligent.
- Article 4 (Prohibited matters)
- A user shall not engage in any of the following acts when using this service.
- Acts that violate laws and regulations or public order and morals
- Acts related to criminal acts
- Infringement of copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights contained in this service, including its content.
- Acts that destroy or interfere with the server or network functions of QRIO, other users, or other third parties.
- Using information obtained through this service for commercial purposes.
- Acts that may interfere with the operation of the QRIO service.
- Unauthorized access or attempting to do so.
- Collecting or storing personal information about other users.
- Use of this service for illicit purposes.
- Actions that cause disadvantage, damage, or discomfort to other users of this service or other third parties.
- Impersonating other users.
- Promote, advertise, solicit, or conduct business on this service that is not authorized by QRIO.
- Providing direct or indirect benefits to antisocial forces in connection with the QRIO service.
- Other acts that QRIO deems inappropriate.
- Article 5 (Suspension of the provision of this service, etc.)
- QRIO may suspend or interrupt the provision of all or part of this service without prior notice to users if QRIO deems any of the following to be the case.

- When performing maintenance, inspection, or updating of the computer system for this service.
- In the event that the provision of the Service becomes difficult due to force majeure such as earthquakes, lightning, fire, power outages, or natural disasters.
- When a computer or communication line is shut down due to an accident QRIO deems it difficult to provide the service in any other cases.
- Article 6 (Restriction of use and cancellation of registration)
- QRIO reserves the right to restrict a user from using all or part of the service, or to cancel a user’s registration, without prior notice, if the user falls under any of the following.
- If the user violates any of the provisions of this agreement.
- When it is found that there is a false fact in the registered information. When a user fails to pay a fee or other payment obligation.
- When there is no response to communication from QRIO for a certain period of time.
- When there is no use of the service for a certain period of time after the last use QRIO judges that the use of the service is not appropriate for other reasons.
- Article 7 (Withdrawal from membership)
- A user may withdraw from this service by following the withdrawal procedures specified by QRIO.
- Article 8 (Disclaimers of warranties and disclaimers)
- QRIO does not warrant, expressly or implicitly, that the service is free from defects in fact or in law (including defects in safety, reliability, accuracy, completeness, effectiveness, fitness for a particular purpose, security, errors or bugs, infringement of rights, etc.). - QRIO shall appropriately handle personal information obtained through the use of this service in accordance with QRIO’s Privacy Policy.
- Article 12 (Collection of logs and usage history)
- Users of this website agree that QRIO may collect access logs and usage history on an individual basis. The log data used shall be used only for the purpose of improving the convenience and functionality of this service.
- Article 13 (Notification or communication)
- Notifications and communications between a user and QRIO shall be made in accordance with the method specified by QRIO. unless a user notifies QRIO of a change in accordance with the method separately specified by QRIO, QRIO shall assume that the currently registered contact information is valid and send notifications and communications to the said contact information, These will be deemed to have reached the user at the time of dispatch.
- Article 14 (Prohibition of transfer of rights and obligations)
- A User may not transfer his/her position under the Service Contract or rights or obligations under these Terms and Conditions to a third party or offer them as collateral without the prior written consent of QRIO.
- Article 15 (Governing law and jurisdiction)
- These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. If any dispute arises in relation to this service, the court having jurisdiction over the head office of QRIO shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
